I'm not to big on making blogs personal but I have something I would like to share. I've been quite pessimistic about my artwork. Not all times but when I have an undesirable outcome. It's something I feel deep within my soul, "I'm not good enough." Its an expression I've felt since I was young and has been dragging me down my whole life. This not only applies to art but other areas of life. Eliminating all negativity about myself from my mind has become my main goal in the past few months but I've only recently been taking it more seriously. And I know that if I keep this up, I cannot move forward. Its late, but its time to let go of all my past conditioning.

outs and dumps

^Went to Laketown, a humungous mall thats pretty close. Used to go quite often when it first opened. We usually go there to eat Sendai cow tongue which is in the 3rd pick. Maybe I didnt notice before but they put 10 yen message chairs in the mall. After walking around so much, it was a nice break. Also played that new DB arcade game. Its pretty damn fun!

Styled my Kayo's clothing a while back. Pretty much everything above the waist is my clothing haha.

Igotsuss made my character into a sculpture! Fine work done on it too. I love it!

Process and others

I made a piece of clothing! Striped jersey top.

最初にシャツのデザインを描いて、かよちゃんは僕にパターンを調節方法を教えてくれて、その後に布を切った。ロックミシンとミシンでまっすぐ縫うのが難しかった。写真を見れば、多分分かんないけど、近くで見ると、縫い目は曲がっている。かよちゃんありがとう！もっと作りましょう！

First I did a design sketch, then my Kayo helped me with adjusting the pattern for cutting the fabric.Using the sewing machine and serger was challenging. Mainly with keeping the stitch straight. It may be hard to see in the pics but the stitching is a bit jagged! lol. Thanks for helping me make this Kayo! I hope to make more in the future.

Nikko - 日っ光

 

^日光から帰った！ 一番上のは江戸村でタイムスリップみたいな感じだ。紅葉はすごかった。

徳川家康の東照宮も見に行った。

Just got back from Nikko! We went to Edo Wonderland(though in Japanese its simply called "Edo Village") which is sort of like a "theme park" of Old Tokyo. Tokyo was called Edo up until the Meiji era, where it then undertook a western look and became the new capitol of Japan.

We also went to Tokugawa Ieyasu's grave/shrine who was the founder of the Tokugawa Shogunate.

The autumn leaves everywhere were so many colours. Red, orange, yellow, pretty much the whole spectrum of warm colours. It was so cold but well worth it.

Kayo made this for my birthday earlier this month. THANKS SO MUCH! She's gotten so much better at making clothing.

日曜日一人でTGSに行ったけど、行列がすごかったから、ゲームあまりやらなかった。！２年前と比べると、人が大分増えた気がする。

I went to Tokyo Game Show by myself on Sunday. The lines were hella long so I didnt feel like waiting. There were so much more people compared to when I went 2 years ago.
